This one was in purple and yellow, the colors of James Madison University. The yellow is technically tie-dyed, as that was what color they had in stock.
This time I wanted to try something different. Instead on cutting out perfect squares, I chose a shorter length for the stretchier sides and a longer length for the sides without a lot of give. This made the fringe on all sides more of the same length.
Time from start to finish: 1:45 hours
Time I actually spent on the project: 1:17 hours
So I turned this:
into this:
As they say, practice makes perfect.
I shall definitely be keeping some of your advice in mind when I next make this sort of blanket.
