It's a pretty long scarf. I did three rows of stockinette and five rows of reverse stockinette to finish up and then wove in all loose ends. I don't quite know why the ends look different.
As a side note, I can clearly see the break when I stopped for the summer, which was about one third of the way up from the bottom. I knitted more this semester than I did last semester, which I found strange.
